The screams of trees as they burn down to their knees seem weak
A promise once made is never forgot; all hope is lost
Ghosts move into my house and disperse everywhere
Slamming all of the doors shut when no one is home
They yell at me to stop smoking as I smoke till my lungs give out
I can see the end
Coming down, looking around, but never finding what isn't there to be found
Discipline is gone so all that is left is to give in again
Another breath hangs heavy in my chest
I stuck around to watch it stick, but my grip is just there to let it slip
I see the indicator light flickering in the reflection of each stop sign
As I realise it's the things I don't like which are the things I should write down
Look away, look away, the light is out
I can see his glowing red eyes... shimmering, shining, growing
Like red bees buzzing, like red stars in an otherwise black night sky
And as I look to the sky, I see the sun is crying, drowning in its own tears
And as they drop into the ocean, I begin to realise they will fill it up so high that we will all drown
